Willoughby Fauna Fair

Next date: Sunday, 20 September 2026 | 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM

This lively community event will feature a special presentation of local native animals by Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, live nature-inspired music from Amelie Ecology and her band, hands-on workshops, children’s activities and displays from local environmental organisations.

Explore the inaugural Nature Makers Market, featuring a curated collection of wildlife, plant and nature-inspired art and handmade products. Children can also enjoy stencil printing, nature journalling and activities showing how to create habitat for pollinators in the popular Kids’ Craft Tent.

Bush to Bowl will be selling native plants and running workshops on creating a wildlife-friendly garden, while artificial-habitat experts will share advice on nest boxes and the latest habitat designs.

Visitors can also meet local Bushcare groups, wildlife and citizen-science organisations, community gardens and Council’s bushland team, and learn more about wildlife monitoring, bird surveys, bush regeneration and other local environmental programs.

With food, refreshments, live entertainment and activities throughout the day, the Willoughby Fauna Fair offers something for nature lovers of all ages.
